Earth Day at Prospect Park

Join the Prospect Park Alliance at the Audubon Center for its annual (and free!) Earth Day celebration.

Fishing Lessons, 1–4 p.m.
Enjoy this fun introduction to catch-and-release fishing. Alliance naturalists will teach participants how to tie a fishing knot, attach bait and cast a line to a try and hook a fish!

Raptor Meet and Greet 1–3 p.m.
Get face to face with real birds of prey.

Nature’s Helpers, 2–3 p.m.
Learn how to keep Prospect Park healthy by cleaning up the lakeshore or spreading mulch.

Bash the Trash Performance & Parade, 3–4 p.m.
Make instruments out of recycled materials then jam out in an exciting performance and parade led by Bash the Trash.
