Free Wifi Comes to Harlem Parks

Last year, AT&T and Mayor Michael Bloomberg launched Free Wi-fi service in East Harlem’s Thomas Jefferson Park and central Harlem’s Marcus Garvey Park, and now Harlem’s Rucker Park has become the latest New York City park with free AT&T Wi-Fi service.  Rucker Park hosts the legendary basketball tournament each summer, and now thousands of street ball fans will be able to connect to the free Wi-fi service with a smartphone, tablet, or laptop whether or not they are AT&T customers.  Free “Wi-Fi in the Parks” network connections are also available in parks across the five boroughs of New York City.
