Native Flora Garden at BBG
May 18, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Late May is still a good time to view spring wildflowers in the Native Flora Garden at Brooklyn Botanic Garden. While many of the early spring ephemerals will be finished blooming, wild geraniums, phlox, shooting stars and deciduous azaleas will still be showing off there blossoms. Solomons seal and ferns will have unfurled along with the diverse kinds of textures and colors of spring foliage. This tour will last approx. an hour as we stroll through the woodland and meadow portions of the garden to uncover wildflower treasures.
Meet inside BBG at the front entrance into the Native Flora Garden (by the wooden gates).
>> Arrive before 12 noon for free entry to BBG <<
