The Lower East Side Ecology Center has just opened an E-Waste recycling center in Brooklyn, at 469 President Street (at Nevins Street). Starting today the center will be open five days a week, closed on Sunday and Monday.

“Any New York resident, small business (max. 50 employees), and non-profit organization can drop-off unwanted electronics for free. If your equipment works, let us know and we will try to give it a second life. Whether your equipment gets reused or recycled, we guarantee data security.”

More details here.
